Calls, once you both say yes.
Talk by voice or video inside the app. Each of you has your own switch for each match, and nobody has to hand over a number.

Turn your switch on
Each match has one switch per person. Turning yours on posts a short note in the chat so they know, at most once a day. When both are on, the chat says calls are on.

Wait for both to be on
You can call once both switches are on and you’ve both sent messages.

Join when you’re free
Calls are invite and join, not ringing. They get a note that you’re in the call and join when they’re free.
Your number stays yours
Calls run through the app, so you never share a phone number to talk.
Off is quiet
Turning your switch off posts nothing. They just see that calls are off.
Never cut mid-call
A call already in progress is never cut, even if someone turns their switch off.
Do I need to share my phone number?+
No. Voice and video calls happen in the app.
Why can’t I call yet?+
Both switches have to be on, and you both need to have sent messages first.
Will it ring?+
No. They get a note that you’re in the call and join when they’re free.
Can I turn calls off completely?+
Yes. The “Calls from matches” setting turns calls off entirely.
