Mainstream dating apps leave that out, and the ones made for the community tend to center religion. HeyArab is for people whose culture is part of who they are, whatever their faith.

It’s made by a very small team from this community. So the app starts from what’s shared: food, family, music, the way home sounds. One prompt asks for “my teta’s dish I’d never admit I like better than my mom’s.”

We want it to be the first dating app people here would show their parents.
